Don't miss

keanuKey & Peele are somewhat unknown in the UK, which is a slight shame as they are extremely funny. But one of their most common (and successful) ‘bits’ are sketches where they feel they have to play up to a black stereotype of being from the ‘hood’. Keanu is a film solely dedicated to that one joke.

That’s not to say it isn’t funny – because it is – and some points I even lol’d! But it did feel like one long sketch relying on a few key jokes (no pun intended). It’s not a bad start for the pair and I’m hoping there’s going to be more of this – but this is well within their comfort zone and I would really have rather watched three episodes of their show than this.

But – how often do you get to see such a cute kitten play such a big part in an action movie? Well, not ever. Overall, a decent watch and some laughs along the way but I wish they had done something a bit different.
